The #Patriots are waiving CB Jack Jones, his agent confirmed this afternoon. In exchange for the charges being dropped, Jones has agreed to serve one year of pretrial probation and 48 hours of community service. Jones eventually agreed to a plea deal in September.
Jones was charged with two counts of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport, possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification Card, unlawful possession of a fireman, carrying a loaded firearm, and possession of a large-capacity feeding device. It’s been a turbulent six months for Jones who was arrested in June for having a loaded firearm in his backpack at a Massachusetts airport.
